The Kern County Career Expo is a career awareness event geared towards the students and employers of Kern.
Over 500 employees from nearly 150 companies were present at this years Kern County Career Expo to talk with thousands of students and parents about the details associated with working for their companies. The event took place to spark an interest in students about careers that they had limited knowledge of, as well as to give them an opportunity to start networking with local industry representatives.
Students left the event excited about the many career opportunities available to them and are now one-step closer towards successfully obtaining a career. The community put forth a great effort to make this event happen and really came together to build career awareness for tomorrow’s workforce.
