The purpose of the KHSD CTE Guest Speaker Series is to introduce high school students to professionals in various industry sectors and expose them to careers within our community.
This week's CTE Guest Speaker will be Michael M. George, who has been in the financial services industry for more than 26 years, having served in various Audit, Marketing, and Operations roles. Michael is a graduate of West High School in Bakersfield, California. Upon completion of his high school studies he attended the University of the Pacific in Stockton, California, where he graduated Cum Laude and was inducted as a member of the Beta Gamma Sigma honors society.
In his current role as Executive Vice President of Marketing at Safe 1 Credit Union, Michael is responsible for leading the organization’s legislative efforts as well as providing strategic vision and direction for market expansion, product and service development, as well as grassroots, traditional, and social media marketing.
